Create Your Account
It takes just a few minutes to set up and verify your account via email.
Step 2
CREATE YOUR CAMPAIGN
Set up your campaign. Make sure you give people a good reason to back you.
Step 3
Pay $20 AUD
Pay the $20 AUD review fee when you publish. It is not a cut of anyone’s Bitcoin.
Step 4
We review it
If it fits the guidelines, the page goes live. We can refuse or take a page down.
Step 5
SHARE YOUR CAMPAIGN
Send it to people who already care. The more you share the more chance it has. Bitcoin that arrives is already in your wallet.
Step 6
Close at the goal
Once you reach your goal we ask you to close your campaign, and if you wish, send us a small donation. 2-3% seems to be the industry average, up to you.

1 bitcoin = 100,000,000 satoshis. This is a snapshot to help you fill the goal field. The live price will have moved by the time donations arrive — that is normal. Bitcoin sent to the campaign address is already the campaigner’s, goal or not.
WHY BITBACKME
Fundraising Without a Bank
After the Canadian trucker protests, governments and banks froze accounts of people they disagreed with. That is a warning, not a one-off. The person who runs this site was later debanked in Australia.
BitBackMe is the response: a public page and a Bitcoin address. Payments move on Bitcoin. BitBackMe is not an intermediary.
No custodial middleman
Donations go from the supporter’s wallet to yours. We do not hold Bitcoin and we cannot send it back.
Censorship-resistant money
Bitcoin is not a bank product. Once a payment is on the network, nobody at BitBackMe can stop it.
Named or not
Use your name or a nickname. Add X or Facebook if you want people to check who you are.
No cut of donations
$20 AUD to list. No percentage of gifts. Miner fees are the network’s, not ours.
Achievable Goals
You don't have to reach a goal before you get your Bitcoin. It is yours as it is received.
Peer to Peer
We are a non-custodial platform. We do not act as a middleman. Donors donate direct to you.

BitBackMe lists personal Bitcoin campaigns. We refuse pages that are illegal, or that go against the freedom, property or liberty of other people. The full rules are in the FAQ.
